Methodology

The Energy for Growth Hub is part of a consortium contributing to the Open Energy Maps platform, including Biospheric AI, UMass Amherst, e-GUIDE, the IEA, and Power Africa. We are developing state-of-the-art geospatial machine learning systems to estimate building-level access and demand. These estimates enable us to develop detailed electricity consumption datasets and track progress toward the Modern Energy Minimum.
